Chief Financial Officer Requirements & Qualifications

• CMA/CPA REQUIRED
• 7 to 10 years of experience in the legal industry
• Proficiency in Aderant (Iridium) and/or Elite Software
• STRONG Excel Skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent professional references
• Must be comfortable working on-site 5 days a week

Chief Financial Officer Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead development and evaluation of short- and long-term strategic financial objectives
• Oversee all finance, accounting, billing, collections, and payroll functions
• Provide timely, accurate financial analysis, trends, and forecasts for leadership
• Manage daily cash flow and the firm’s banking relationships
• Advise executive leadership on business activities and their financial implications
• Oversee annual budgeting, financial controls, and reporting processes
• Evaluate equity and debt structures for growth and capital deployment
• Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with financial covenants
• Present financial reports to the Managing Partner and Executive Committee
