Job Description
Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

License: State Pharmacy Technician Registration Required


Certifications: CPHt, High School Diploma or equivalent Required


Must-Have: Inpatient experience including sterile compounding within the last 6 months


Description:
This position involves working evenings, with shifts starting between 14:00 and 14:30.
Candidates will be required to work every weekend.
The ideal candidate will dispense, compound, and deliver medications throughout the facility.
Responsibilities include contributing to inventory management and ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care through medication management.
Collaboration with pharmacy team members is essential, as well as the utilization of various pharmacy technologies and automation.
Candidates will prepare sterile compounds under appropriate processes and procedures.
The candidate must be team-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
Travelers are required to float as needed.
Minimum experience of two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty is mandatory.
A telemetry exam will be required prior to start; specific passing criteria must be met.
All applicants must be prepared to meet the required standards for testing and placement.
