Mid-Level Operations Procurement Agent

Mid‑Level Operations Procurement Agent – Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) – Secondary Structures and AM&S team, Everett, Washington. As an Operations Procurement Agent at Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), you will play a critical role in managing supplier relationships and project‑managing all aspects of their performance, blending strategic thinking with on‑the‑ground execution. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills, a strong desire to learn and collaborate, and a passion for Supply Chain. Position Responsibilities Develop and execute integrated organizational risk mitigation plans and schedules, and guide the development of business strategies, goals and objectives. Participate in on‑site supplier assessments (e.g., Preferred Supplier Certification, Proof of Process and Rate Readiness) to identify supplier capacity and capability to perform current and projected work statements and support Boeing procurement strategy. Monitor suppliers’ performance‑to‑plan and assess supplier resource plans. Proactively communicate with senior leadership, peers, suppliers and customers, including communicating business vision and strategies, program or project status, conducting and participating in leadership meetings, and delivering presentations. Establish partnerships and relationships across various business units with internal and external customers, stakeholders and peers. Identify and communicate opportunities to implement new processes or improve existing ones. Work with urgency and make decisions weighing business goals. Basic Qualifications (Required) 5+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes. 5+ years of experience in the deployment and administration of policies, procedures, and processes. 5+ years of experience interacting with customers (both internal and external) at all levels. 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 10% of time). Preferred Qualifications (Desired) 7+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or in supplier management. 7+ years of experience managing supplier quality and delivery performance. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management or related field. Experience presenting to executive leadership for awareness and negotiation. Education & Experience Typically, 7 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred but not required. Other Requirements Position is 100% onsite in Everett, Washington. Must satisfy the company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process.
