Location: Ewing Township, NJ (and surrounding Mercer County area)
Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $25.00 – $42.00 / hour (Based on experience + performance bonuses/commissions)
Benefits: PTO, Company Vehicle, Gas Card, and iPad.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician with at least 5 years of hands-on experience to diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems throughout Central New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain heat pumps, gas furnaces, AC units, boilers, and ductless mini-splits.
- Perform seasonal maintenance and system safety inspections.
- Explain diagnostic findings and repair options clearly to residential and commercial clients.
- Maintain an organized, well-stocked company service vehicle.
- Participate in a rotating, paid on-call schedule for emergency services.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record (Required).
- Certifications: Valid EPA Universal Certification (Required). NATE certification or NJ Master HVACR license is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with electrical schematics, refrigerant charging, and advanced diagnostics.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics or crawl spaces.
