ED Holding Support Nurse – Float PoolShift: NIGHT (36- or 48-hour options) Weekend requirement: Every other weekendContract length: 13+ weeks up to 02/27/2027Minimum 2 years relevant nursing experienceTravel nursing experience: REQUIREDLicensure: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submittalRequired certifications: BLS, ACLSExperience with MS/Tele and telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV/PICC/central line care, and phlebotomyExperience with blood product administration, heparin/insulin protocols, airway management, and wound careProvide nursing care to adult medical/surgical patients, including PCU-level casesMonitor patients' vital signs and adjust care plans based on assessmentsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient careParticipate in rapid response and code teams as neededAdminister medications and treatments per established protocolsCOVID-19 vaccine: Not requiredFlu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)EKG testing: Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialtyPre-start requirements include completion of lab/testing within 48 hours after signing and pre-start modules requiredRTO (return-to-office/time-off) policies apply; multiple notes outlined in posting including:- RTO after booking is not allowed- Call-offs/additional RTO could result in cancellation/DNR- Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidaysCity Wilmington State NC
