Family Law Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their team in New Braunfels, Texas. The firm is dedicated to providing client-centered legal services and achieving meaningful results for families in Central Texas. Duties Handle all aspects of family law cases from intake through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, hearings, mediation, and trial. Provide direct counsel to clients, managing expectations and helping them navigate difficult circumstances with professionalism and empathy. Appear in court regularly and maintain strong relationships with local judges, court staff, and colleagues. Work collaboratively with the team to advance client outcomes while supporting the firm's high standards. Requirements Licensed to practice law in Texas, in good standing. At least 3 years of family law experience with a proven record of managing cases independently. Strong courtroom and client communication skills. Local practice experience in Central Texas preferred. Ability to balance assertive advocacy with empathy and professionalism. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Texas. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Proficiency in managing multiple cases and deadlines. Benefits Health insurance.
