Administrative Technician - Contract

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Contract Length: 60- 90 days

Location: Sacramento, CA

AtWork Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Technician for a 60- 90 day contract opportunity with a well-established organization in the Sacramento area. This position provides technical administrative support, data management, document preparation, and coordination assistance within a professional office environment.

What You' ll Do

• Provide day-to-day administrative and technical support for department operations
• Collect, enter, track, and process department-specific information
• Prepare, format, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents
• Maintain accurate files, records, logs, and databases
• Research information and assist with responding to internal and external inquiries
• Enter and update data while tracking assignments and departmental activities
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and summaries
• Coordinate meetings, training sessions, agendas, packets, and meeting materials
• Take accurate meeting notes and prepare minutes
• Assist with procurement, payroll-related administrative activities, supplies, and office materials
• Communicate professionally with employees, vendors, outside agencies, and the public
• Support special projects by tracking progress, compiling information, and preparing reports

What We' re Looking For

• At least 1 year of technical administrative or office support experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with databases, spreadsheets, word-processing, and presentation software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional, courteous, and tactful customer service approach
• Ability to research information, interpret procedures, and prepare written responses
• Strong typing and data-entry skills; 50 net words per minute typing speed is required
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

Education

Six months to one year of post-high-school education or training in an administrative, business, technical, or related field is preferred. Directly related experience may substitute for education.

Work Environment

This is a sedentary office position involving frequent computer and telephone use, document handling, data entry, and communication with internal and external contacts.
