Sourcing Specialist

Job Title
First 2 Weeks Onsite OR travel to NY
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the prudent purchase and contracting of commodities, equipment, services, as assigned, in accordance with internal policies and procedures, including but not limited to investigating alternatives, reviewing cost effectiveness, soliciting bids, and negotiating with vendors.
- Works closely with the Value Analysis Coordinator of Procurement, MMIS System Administrator, Contract Specialist, Purchasing Agents, and Purchasing Assistants.
- Will coordinate contracts that cross lines of responsibility throughout all client facilities in all assigned areas of responsibility.
Education/Experience Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Science in Business or related field with 2 years purchasing experience or Associate's Degree in Applied Science in Business or related field with 3 years purchasing experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management or other business related function. Preferred:
