AI Project Manager (remote)

Location: Telecommute Job Type: Contract Compensation Range: $43 - $48 per hour Overview We are seeking a forward‑thinking Project Manager to join our Brand Operations AI Transformation team. In this role you will blend traditional project management expertise with a strong understanding of AI and Machine Learning (AI/ML) technologies to serve as a critical bridge between highly technical data teams, creative studios, brand managers, and business stakeholders. Your mission is to lead, plan, and execute innovative AI/ML projects from conception through delivery, ensuring all initiatives are aligned with brand guidelines, deliver measurable business value, and stay on time, scope and budget. Responsibilities Plan and oversee all stages of AI‑led creative projects, from ideation and data collection to delivery, model training, monitoring, and reporting. Act as a bridge between technical teams, creative teams, and business/marketing stakeholders, ensuring seamless project delivery, resource optimization, and robust controls adherence through ongoing communication. Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics for AI‑powered deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Serve as the primary liaison between brand management and creative teams, translating complex AI concepts into clear, actionable business insights. Work with technical and creative experts to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, including timeline, data quality, model bias or ethical concerns, guaranteeing high‑quality and regulatory compliance. Create and manage project budgets, track expenditures, allocate resources effectively, and ensure projects run smoothly and within scope. Stay up‑to‑date with emerging AI trends, tools, and platforms, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications 3 or more years of project management experience, successfully delivering AI/ML projects. Proficient in project planning, risk management, and stakeholder management. Deep understanding of creative workflows and controls, AI methodologies, data management, and ethical considerations related to AI technologies. Ability to plan and oversee execution of AI/ML‑based creative projects from conception to deployment, including timelines, meetings, asset and resource management, and reporting. Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts such as NLP, deep learning, and data science principles. Experience with data quality, pipelines, and data‑driven decision making. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities; adaptable, results‑oriented, and able to manage complex, ambiguous projects. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Adobe Workfront. Strong knowledge of Agile and iterative development methodologies. Experience with generative AI tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Google Veo 3) in a workplace capacity. Experience with creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
