Radiation Oncologist OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiation Oncologist to join our growing dermatology group.We are a privately owned group and are looking for a radiation oncologist to work part time or full time in the state of Oregon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation oncology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.Responsibilities include:Evaluate and diagnose patients with cancer, determining the most appropriate course of radiation therapy (EBT/SRT)Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, taking into consideration their medical history, overall health, and specific cancer typeCollaborate with a team of professionals, including medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, physician assistants and nurses, to ensure comprehensive cancer careMonitor patients' progress throughout the course of treatment, adjusting treatment plans as necessaryEducate patients and their families on the benefits, risks, and potential side effects of radiation therapyStay up-to-date on the latest advancements in radiation oncology and participate in ongoing professional development opportunitiesParticipate in research and clinical trials to advance the field of radiation oncologyRequirements include:Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institutionBoard certification or eligibility in Radiation OncologyStrong clinical skills and experience in radiation oncologyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively within a teamCommitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
