Job Summary Supports purchasing activities and the Corporate Buyers by performing the following duties. This Purchasing Assistant will have Nationwide responsibilities and will be based in our Santa Fe Springs, CA office. Job Description Purchasing Assistant Onsite | Santa Fe Springs, CA $50,000 – $55,000 base salary Full‑time | Great benefits We’re hiring a Purchasing Assistant to support our onsite purchasing operations in Santa Fe Springs, CA . This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working cross‑functionally with vendors, sales, and receiving teams. What You’ll Do Obtain and verify vendor order acknowledgements Provide purchase order updates to sales (dates, delays, changes) Assist with PO updates, including costs and delivery dates Reconcile invoice discrepancies with buyers Partner with receiving to share required paperwork Build working relationships with vendor contacts Support consignment management and system updates Maintain reports, records, and On‑Time Delivery data Communicate clearly with internal teams and vendors What We’re Looking For Required 6–12 months of relevant experience Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Associate’s Degree Benefits Overview Competitive base pay: $50,000–$55,000 (no bonus) Strong benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more) Supportive, inclusive team environment Hands‑on experience in purchasing and supply chain operations Location This position is 100% onsite at our Santa Fe Springs, CA facility.
