Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Work closely with a high-needs caseload in a school-based environment, making a genuine difference in the lives of children and adolescents. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure eligible for practice in Rhode Island
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations, preferably in a school setting
• Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate therapy programs tailored to students' individual needs
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
• Adaptable, compassionate approach when managing diverse student abilities and unique behavioral or sensory needs
• Willingness to complete provided Safety Care training prior to start

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students on a high-needs caseload
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in group and one-on-one settings
• Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress, and interventions in compliance with school and legal standards
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance accessibility and participation across school environments
• Provide input on IEP development and attend student support meetings as required
• Participate in safety care training and implement practices to foster a positive and safe school environment
