Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. This position will involve providing high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.

Shift Details

• Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00)
• Night Shift: 4x10-Hour (21:00 - 07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the PACU, including Phase II care.
• Float between various units as needed.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and administer IV medication.
• Monitor and document patient progress during recovery.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support patient needs.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in Pre-Operative, PACU, and Phase II care.
• IV skills are required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to manage a range of clinical situations, including ventilation and sedation management.
