Senior Clinical Training Specialist

We provide clinical training and support to customers as a subject‑matter expert on‑site or remotely, ensuring they operate equipment safely and effectively, and fully leverage its complex functionality to meet business needs. Role Responsibilities Provide in‑person case coverage Ensures product(s) and ancillary components are available for each case. Completes and processes all procedure‑related paperwork as required. Tracks and reports all customer complaints. Ensures physicians and staff have the most current information available. Manages a disposable inventory sufficient to cover assigned case load. Brings products (including Microwave and Cryoablation generators) to cases as required. Train and educate physicians and hospital staff on use of assigned VIS products Provides on‑site clinical support during procedures while maintaining a "hands off" posture in relation to direct patient contact. Interacts with customers and functional organizations to determine their training needs and uses engineering documentation such as Operators Manuals and DFUs to develop training content. May coordinate or lead customer and/or employee training classes. May also conduct large group presentations at seminars, training programs, and trade shows. May also provide demo support to local, regional, and national customer trade events. Provide first line product technical support Performs new installation support to ensure products are working as specified. Provides first line technical service support via Engineering or Field Service Engineer oversight, when necessary. Collaborate with the VIS Medical Affairs Team Assists Medical Education, Medical Information, and Medical Science Liaisons if required. Documents day‑to‑day interactions with physician customers. Provides competitive product performance information to headquarters marketing or engineering groups. Skills & Experience Required Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred. Clinical background – IR/CT Technician, Operating Room Nurse, or Surgical Technician preferred. Experience/knowledge of IR suite, Operating Room protocol, and sterile technique. Experience in supporting vascular procedures highly regarded. Experience in supporting tissue ablation procedures highly regarded. Ability to work in a high‑intensity, fast‑paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills. Analytical with an ability/desire to solve problems. Team player. Ability to lift approximately 150 pounds. Compensation The base pay range for this position is $128,480 – $176,660. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Many clients require employees to meet vendor credentialing requirements before access is granted, and must continue to meet these requirements throughout employment.
