Business Analyst (Office-Business Professional)

Business Analyst Demonstrates customer interface/relationship skills and performs well in the Senior Business Analyst role with teams. Has the ability to provide direction to peer/junior resources. Defines high-level application, relationships, flows, implementation of business (processes, activities, functions, information), applications, and creates business and system use cases or functional specifications. Analyses complex and new situations, anticipates potential problems and future trends, assesses opportunities, impacts and risks while developing and implementing plans and solutions to customer problems. Independently creates business requirement documents (BRD) that set out project requirements including costs, objectives, milestones, and timelines. Focuses skills and experience on projects and oversees acceptance testing, contributes to development of user guides, provides user training, and supports the user in development of work processes. Collaborates with scrum master to track progress of sprints (Sprint log, % difference between user stories planned and deployed). Participates in resolving any functional issue in post-production environment during the cutover period. Works under limited supervision of Sr. / Lead business analysts. Should have prior experience of working with clients of Retail, CPG, and Logistics industry. Should be aware of basic information security awareness protocols, software security in the SDLC lifecycle, and OWASP Top 10 concepts. Education Requirements Bachelors: B.E./ B.Tech / BCA Masters: M.Tech / MCA degree MBA Preferred Technical Skills Audit Process Experience: Significant experience with the audit process, preferably from a professional services background, to ensure efficiency and high quality in the work. Flexible Capacity Management: Availability on a part-time basis to effectively manage specific seasonal workload spikes, avoiding the creation of an unfulfilled full-time role for the remainder of the fiscal year. Immediate Proficiency: Must be immediately proficient in this niche area. The nature of this work is such that finding internal resources is difficult, and training new individuals would require several years, with an associated risk of subsequent role rotation. Proven High-Level Performance: Demonstrated history of high-level performance in complex accounting roles, ideally with prior experience in a large corporate environment, indicating immediate integration capability and understanding of corporate standards. Specialized Technical Accounting Expertise: Deep expertise in technical accounting for benefit plans, including a thorough understanding of Department of Labor and IRS regulations.
