Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $46.90/hour

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care on a brand new Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit for diverse patient conditions including sepsis, cellulitis, DVT/PE, CHF, COPD, COVID, PNA
• Monitor patient vitals, deliver medications, and support post-op recovery for total joint, GI, and abdominal surgeries
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including hospitalists, RT, OT, PT, and ST
• Support patient safety and compliance through wound management, IV care, and other specialized procedures
• Document accurately within EMR (Meditech Expanse) and utilize hospital equipment effectively
• Float to various units as needed to support hospital staffing and workflow
• Complete orientation and pass competency exams, including EKG

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible in nearby states
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Ability to pass EKG competency exam
• Strong skills in wound care, IV therapy, and pain management

• Experience in telemetry, post-op care, or similar units
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Good team player with excellent communication skills
