The Phoenix Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Coordinator to join our dedicated healthcare team. If you're passionate about maintaining accurate medical records and supporting quality resident care in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:

Maintain, organize, and safeguard resident medical records in accordance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
Process admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Respond to requests for medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
Assist with chart audits and regulatory surveys.
Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and administrative staff to ensure timely documentation.
Manage electronic and paper medical records systems.

Qualifications:

Previous Medical Records experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting preferred.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
