Medical Records Coordinator The Phoenix Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour Join Our Team! Responsibilities:
- Maintain, organize, and safeguard resident medical records in accordance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Process admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Respond to requests for medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Assist with chart audits and regulatory surveys.
- Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and administrative staff to ensure timely documentation.
- Manage electronic and paper medical records systems.
- Previous Medical Records experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
