Quick Facts Location: Beckley, WV (275 Dry Hill Road) Start Date: 11/02/2026 End Date: 11/01/2027 Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:00) Schedule: 3 weeks on/1 week off or 2 weeks per month Hours per week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract (1 year) Licensing/Certs: Board Certified in Radiation/Oncology, WV State License, DEA, BLS, ACLS Experience: Willing to license Patient Population: Adults 18+ Support Staff: Radiologic technologists, APPs, RNs Department: Cancer Center Procedures: HDR (high dose rate) brachytherapy EMR: Cerner Patient Volume: 3 new consults daily + approximately 18-25 radiation treatments weekly Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay: $331.50 Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with local, state, and federal laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Extra Compensation: Overtime (1.2x) after scheduled hours, holiday pay (1.2x) on specified holidays What You'll Do Provide expert radiation oncology care supported by a multidisciplinary team Manage radiation treatments for adult cancer patients Support HDR procedures within a well-equipped cancer center Collaborate with radiologic technologists, APPs, and nursing staff Document patient treatments accurately in Cerner EMR Maintain compliance with all safety and procedural protocols Contribute to patient education and support throughout treatment What You Need Board Certification in Radiation/Oncology WV State Medical License (or willingness to license) DEA License BLS and ACLS Certifications Experience or willingness to become licensed as required Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment Join a reputable cancer center in Beckley, WV, equipped with modern imaging and radiation technology, for a rewarding temporary position supporting adult cancer patients.
