Credentialing Coordinator (Entry Level)

Overview CVP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credentialing Coordinator to support onboarding and security processing activities for employees supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate looking to build a long-term career in government contracting, healthcare support services, human resources, operations, or security processing. Responsibilities Assist with preparing and submitting security and onboarding packages for VA personnel Review documents for accuracy and completeness Track onboarding progress and follow up on missing informationCommunicate with employees, recruiters, hiring managers, and government contacts throughout the onboarding process Maintain accurate records and tracking spreadsheets Support badge processing, background investigation coordination, and compliance activities Learn federal onboarding and credentialing procedures within the government contracting space Help ensure all documentation meets company and VA requirements Provide administrative and operational support to the credentialing and compliance team Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication High attention to detail Ability to multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment Positive attitude and willingness to learn Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel Ability to oversee confidential information professionally Location This is a primarily remote position, must live in the DMV Area for occasional on-site training and support.
