Story Land - Food & Beverage Cook (International)

**Roles and Responsibilities:** - All other duties assigned by leadership**Education and Experience:** No education requirements for this position- Culinary arts education a plus, but not required- 1 year of previous experience as a chef, cook, or another culinary-related role highly desired, but not required.**Language:**Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus. **Requirements:** - Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays- Ability to comply with all uniform policies- Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner- Ability to use kitchen equipment, knives, and appliances in a safe and effective manner- Must possess a general knowledge and interest in food preparation or culinary arts- Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently**Physical Requirements:** - Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday- Ability to frequently stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders- Ability to withstand heat and humidity from the food preparation equipment- Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more- Ability to use a step ladder in a safe and proper manner- This role will predominantly be based in a kitchen environment**Palace Perks & Benefits:** - Ability to cross-train and learn unique skills across various departments #J-18808-Ljbffr Story Land
