What You'll Do:

• Independently operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory illnesses
• Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation, including drawing ABGs and airway management
• Assist with intubations and potentially conduct pulmonary function tests (PFTs)
• Set up and maintain respiratory therapy devices under physician direction
• Collaborate with healthcare team members in a critical access hospital setting across pediatric to geriatric patients
• Support patient care efforts in various clinical areas, solving problems independently

What You Need:

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
• Experience with invasive and non-invasive ventilation
• Ability to draw ABGs and assist with airway management

• Experience with PFTs (not mandatory)

About the Assignment: This assignment is at a critical access hospital serving pediatric to geriatric populations. The facility uses Cerner EMR and requires business casual or scrubs in any color. Staff will work during designated holiday periods and are scheduled to work two blocks including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's holidays, with OT multipliers at 1.25.
