About Our Partner
Our client is a well-established and growing construction organization that is seeking a Bilingual HR Generalist to join their team. This individual will play a key role in supporting daily HR operations across a fast-paced, field-driven environment. The company offers long-term stability, a team-oriented culture, and the opportunity to work closely with leadership while supporting both office and field employees.
About the Role
The Bilingual HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting a wide range of human resources functions including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and HR policy implementation. This position will work closely with operations and field leadership to help maintain a positive and compliant work environment across multiple departments and job sites. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and have prior experience supporting employees within construction, industrial, manufacturing, or field-service environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations for office and field employees
- Assist with employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance with company policies and employment regulations
- Support employee relations matters and partner with leadership on performance-related issues
- Coordinate recruiting efforts including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
- Assist with benefits administration, leave tracking, and workers’ compensation processes
- Support payroll-related documentation and communication as needed
- Help implement and communicate HR policies, procedures, and safety initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all employee interactions
- Partner with operations leadership to support staffing needs across active projects and job sites
- Assist with training coordination and compliance tracking
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- 3+ years of HR Generalist or HR support experience preferred
- Prior experience within construction, industrial, manufacturing, or field operations environments strongly preferred
- Knowledge of California labor laws and HR compliance practices preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
