The Market Manager is responsible for managing and growing a designated 7-Eleven market by serving as the primary strategic partner for assigned accounts. This role builds and maintains strong relationships with franchisees and key stakeholders and executes strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who excels at building strategic relationships and effectively managing complex sales and buying cycles.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees to support long-term account growth and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct daily visits to 15 or more assigned accounts to ensure consistent execution and identify sales opportunities.
• Execute merchandising standards, pricing updates, shelf resets, and in-store product placement to maximize brand visibility and availability.
• Implement strategic growth plans with defined performance metrics to achieve sales and distribution objectives.
• Drive distribution and sales growth of existing and new beverage brands across the 7-Eleven chain.
• Plan and execute regional promotional activities, including product samplings, in-store activations, and local marketing events to increase consumer awareness and drive sales.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to support field teams, customer relationships and business development efforts.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• 3+ years of experience in sales, account management or business development, preferably within the beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry
• Demonstrated ability to understand retail sales strategies, promotional planning, and category management
• Ability to navigate 7-Eleven ordering systems, communicate product and brand innovations, and execute sales strategies that drive growth during promotional and non-promotional periods
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to build trusted relationships, influence franchisees, owners, and operators, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field
• Experience managing 7-Eleven accounts or other large retail customers

Physical Requirements:

This role requires regular standing, walking and reaching. Must be able to regularly lift and move products up to 150 pounds, as well as climb, reach, and perform other physical movements necessary to carry out the essential duties of the position. Ability to work in varying environments, including refrigerated areas and outdoor conditions.
