Pastry Intern job at SEIZE THE BAGEL. Vancouver, WA. PAID Internship or Externship We would love to be your guide. INTERN - Pastry/Culinary Required hours No evenings Medical Benefits available Pastry Cook Responsibilities: Designing and improving recipes. Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as cookies, bread, cakes, etc. Decorating and displaying finished products. Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls. Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels. Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift. Compensation Disclosure: includes a BASE rate of 17.50 to 18.50, (DOE) plus TIPS (SERVICE POOL) SERVICE POOL (TIPS), are shared by all service staff, prorated by experience, cross training, and position OUR Crew appreciates the generosity of our guests, as the typical Crew member, post training, can earn between 1.00 and 5.00 per hour of the SERVICE POOL By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
