You will have the opportunity to:Shape enterprise safety strategy across a growing specialty construction company.Work directly with executive leadership on business-critical initiatives.Influence operations and decision-making at every level.Build and mentor a high-performing safety team.Support some of the industry's most challenging crane, rigging, steel erection, heavy transportation, and specialty construction projects.Help build a safety culture that becomes a competitive advantage.What You Will DoLead the company's safety strategy across all operations and project locations.Partner with executive leadership to strengthen safety performance and operational excellence.Develop and enhance enterprise safety programs, policies, standards, and management systems.Coach operational leaders while building accountability throughout the organization.Conduct executive-level safety reviews, audits, and operational assessments.Lead investigations involving serious incidents, near misses, and high-potential events.Drive root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.Monitor leading and lagging safety indicators to identify trends and improve performance.Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable regulatory requirements.Mentor and develop safety professionals while fostering a culture of ownership, engagement, and continuous improvement.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in safety, Construction Management, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Risk Management, or related fieldOSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification10+ years of progressive construction safety leadership experienceExperience leading safety programs across multiple projects, locations, or business unitsStrong knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926)Experience leading incident investigations and root cause analysis programsExperience partnering directly with executive and operational leadership teamsStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to travel regularly to project sites and operational locationsPreferred QualificationsOSHA 500 Construction Outreach TrainerCSP, CHST, CIH, or equivalent professional certificationExperience supporting crane operations, rigging, steel erection, industrial construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, EPC, or heavy civil operationsExperience supporting crane and rigging, steel erection, heavy transportation, industrial construction, manufacturing, EPC, or heavy civil operations.Experience building and leading high-performing safety teams.What Success Looks LikeImproved safety performance across all operationsReduced organizational risk exposureStronger leadership engagement and accountabilityConsistent safety execution company-wideImproved leading indicator performanceEffective corrective action implementationEnhanced workforce participation in safety initiativesDevelopment of scalable systems that support long-term growthWhy Superior Rigging & Erecting?At Superior, safety has a seat at the executive table.
