Clinical Scope

• Delivering pregnancies (active obstetric care)
• On-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries
• Available for emergent GYN procedures
• Management of high-risk deliveries as emergent only
• Transfer of high-risk patients to tertiary centers for NICU care, approximately 30-45 minutes away
• High-risk transfer support to NHR or CFV for NICU needs

Schedule & Coverage

• 24-hour call shifts on scheduled dates
• Provider must reside within 20 minutes of the hospital

• Active North Carolina medical license

• NC Medicaid credential

• Must be enrolled with PECOS, NC Medicaid, and NC Medicare/PECOS
