At BF Construction, we are a fast-paced commercial design-build firm looking for a highly skilled Revit Drafter / Designer who can support both design development and construction execution. This is not a role for someone who only drafts from markups without understanding how projects are actually built.

We are looking for someone who understands construction, coordination, sequencing, and constructability — someone who can build clean, accurate drawing sets that help projects move efficiently from design through construction.

This role is heavily focused on Revit-based 2D documentation and 3D modeling within a real-world design-build environment.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain detailed Revit models for commercial construction projects
• Produce accurate permit, bid, and construction-ready drawing sets
• Create plans, elevations, sections, details, and coordination drawings
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP information within Revit
• Review drawings for constructability, conflicts, and missing information before issues reach the field
• Revise drawings based on RFIs, field conditions, site observations, and coordination meetings
• Work closely with project managers, superintendents, consultants, and field teams throughout construction
• Support design-build coordination from preconstruction through execution
• Help maintain drawing accuracy and organization across multiple active projects

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years of Revit drafting/design experience in commercial construction or design-build environments
• Advanced proficiency in Revit for both 2D documentation and 3D modeling
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and field coordination
• Experience producing permit, bid, and construction drawing sets
• Ability to interpret and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP plans
• Strong technical, organizational, and computer skills
• High attention to detail and drawing accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently while also supporting team coordination

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
