Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform clinical diagnostic MRI exams in accordance with department protocols
• Utilize standard and modified imaging techniques to produce MRI images per physician-ordered procedures and quality standards
• Work a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays, with standby and call-back duty as required
• Perform a minimum of one on-call shift per week in addition to regularly scheduled shifts
• Adapt to varying work schedules based on staffing and operational needs

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited MRI program resulting in a certificate or associate degree, or completion of ARRT advanced registry in MRI
• Minimum of one (1) year of MRI technologist experience demonstrating the ability to perform clinical diagnostic MRI procedures
• Current ARRT certification in MR (advanced qualification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging) or current ARMRIT certification
• BLS certification required within six months of employment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Two or more years of independent MRI experience
• Experience with GE MRI systems
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Current State of Hawaii license in any radiologic imaging modality
