Data Foundation Account Executive As a Data Foundation Account Executive you sit at the epicenter of the most significant shift in enterprise tech: the Agentic Revolution. You aren’t just selling software; you are architecting the Data Foundation that makes autonomous agents possible. What is the Data Foundation? The Data Foundation is Salesforce’s integrated solution combining MuleSoft (API‑led connectivity and integration) and Informatica (enterprise data management, quality, and governance) unified with Salesforce Data Cloud to create a single, trusted data layer for AI. Together, these capabilities eliminate data silos that hold enterprise AI back. As a Data Foundation AE, you own both MuleSoft and Informatica as part of your portfolio. Why This Role? The Prime Position: You carry quota for both MuleSoft and Informatica. The Unfair Advantage: You sell the #1 priority for every 2026 C‑suite executive—turning "static data" into "agentic action". The Power Trio: You bring together MuleSoft, Informatica, and Data Cloud to deliver at scale and bridge the "Data Gap". Your Day-to-Day: Architect of the Connected AI Enterprise Own the Data Foundation Mandate: Drive ACV across MuleSoft and Informatica; position the Data Foundation as the essential layer for every AI initiative. Lead "Data Foundation" Discovery: Conduct deep‑dive sessions with CIOs and Data Architects to uncover fragmented systems and data quality issues. Orchestrate the Ecosystem: Commercially engage both products while partnering with technical specialists to solve complex data gravity problems. Identify "AI‑Ready" Whitespace: Hunt for high‑value use cases and show leadership how MuleSoft and Informatica combine to automate workflows and prepare the enterprise for an autonomous future. Value‑Based Outcomes: Translate technical capabilities into high‑level business ROI; prove that without a robust Data Foundation enterprises cannot succeed. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of full‑cycle sales experience. Technical Platform Sales: Proven track record selling complex, technical solutions—integration, data management, cloud platforms—to C‑suite executives. Executive Business Acumen: Translate technical capabilities into board‑level outcomes. Matrix Organization Expertise: Navigate a heavily matrixed environment and mobilize extended teams. Team Selling Leadership: Coordinate technical specialists, solution engineers, and partner resources in a team‑selling model. AI & Data Curiosity: Natural curiosity about the evolving AI and agentic landscape. Integration/API Market Awareness: Familiarity with the integration and API market landscape. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).
