As an Inside Sales Representative, you will help drive business growth by connecting with prospective customers, qualifying sales opportunities, preparing quotes, and converting leads into new business. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Working closely with Outside Sales, you will help identify high-potential prospects, maintain an active sales pipeline, and build relationships that support Ecowaste's continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Responds to inbound leads and proactively contacts prospective customers to generate new business.
• Qualifies sales opportunities by identifying customer needs, service requirements, and revenue potential.
• Prepares and delivers quotes, follows up on open proposals, and works to close sales opportunities.
• Reviews incoming leads and open quotes to prioritize high-potential prospects.
• Monitors pipeline activity and maintains consistent follow-up with prospective customers.
• Coordinates with Outside Sales on opportunities that require field engagement or in-person customer interaction.
• Maintains accurate customer information, sales activities, and opportunity statuses in the CRM.
• Tracks sales performance, lead conversion rates, and response times to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluates lead sources and lost opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and closing performance.
• Works toward established new-customer acquisition, revenue, and sales activity goals.
• Communicates effectively with team members to support a coordinated sales process and positive customer experience.
• Provides additional support for sales initiatives and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous inside sales, business development, lead generation, or related sales experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and effectively follow up to close business.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple leads, quotes, and opportunities.
• Experience using CRM systems and tracking sales activity preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Outside Sales and other team members.
• Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on customer service, accountability, and achieving sales targets.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Regularly sits for extended periods while communicating with customers and managing sales activities.
• Frequent use of a computer, phone, and CRM software.
• May occasionally stand and walk within an office environment to communicate with team members.
• Work is performed primarily in an office or remote sales environment, depending on business needs.
• May require occasional schedule flexibility to support customer needs and sales activities.
