Title Dental receptionist / admin Job Description Serve as the primary point of contact, warmly greeting and welcoming patients upon arrival and managing their check-in and check-out process. Manage a dynamic patient schedule, handling appointment scheduling, confirmations, and recall management to optimize clinic workflow. Answer and manage all incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries with professionalism and clarity. Verify patient insurance eligibility, manage financial arrangements, and process patient payments accurately. Implement and consistently maintain established practice policies and administrative procedures. Maintain and update accurate patient records and manage data entry into the practice management system. Support a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the administrative team. Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe reception area and working environment. Salary Range full-time $22 - $38 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Shift & Schedule Monday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Requirements Proven experience in a professional administrative or customer service role. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills, necessary for effective patient and team interaction. Proficiency in general computer skills and office software. Demonstrated ability to implement and adhere to office policies and procedures. Preferences Prior experience working in a dental or medical office setting. Familiarity or proficiency with the Softdent practice management software. Experience handling insurance verification and billing processes.
