Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to obstetric patients and newborns according to the nursing process and established standards.
- Assess maternal and fetal status, monitor labor and postpartum patients, and administer medications as ordered.
- Coordinate care with obstetric and neonatal teams; supervise and direct the activities of licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
- Maintain patient safety, perform accurate documentation, and manage emergencies with critical thinking and independent judgment.
- Communicate with patients’ families, support delivery preparation, and ensure continuity of care across disciplines.

Requirements
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification or eligibility as appropriate for obstetric care
- Labor & Delivery experience preferred
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment beginning 09/28/2026 and to work night shifts in an inpatient care setting
