Assess maternal and fetal status, monitor labor and postpartum patients, and administer medications as ordered. Coordinate care with obstetric and neonatal teams; supervise and direct the activities of licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate. Maintain patient safety, perform accurate documentation, and manage emergencies with critical thinking and independent judgment. Communicate with patients’ families, support delivery preparation, and ensure continuity of care across disciplines.
