Job Overview The Office Assistant provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. This role supports staff across departments, assists with documentation and communication, and helps maintain an organized, professional office environment. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities Greet visitors, answer phones, and direct inquiries Maintain and organize both physical and digital office files Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and company events Prepare, proofread, and format documents, reports, and correspondence Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and shipments Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed Support data entry, record keeping, and basic administrative reporting Assist team members with various administrative tasks and special projects Help maintain a clean, organized, professional office workspace Qualifications Prior experience in an office or administrative role is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information Attention to detail and reliable follow-through Must be Authorized to work in the United States Working Conditions Standard office environment Frequent use of computers and office equipment Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs (supplies, boxes) Why Join Werner Construction?
