Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires. What You Will Do Actively engage and serve as a trusted partner with Trane account managers and the Airside Product Growth Team (PGT). Serve as a subject matter expert through technical and application knowledge of Airside products, continually advancing this knowledge through personal development goals. Collaborate with internal or external customers in the areas of technical Airside equipment understanding and system application, customer specification, bill of materials review, and pricing questions. Handle non‑selectable and design special options, responding to internal product support requests via email and phone using the Zendesk platform. Support testing and improvement of our equipment selection system, Trane Select Assist. Engage in the customer visit process at the Columbia facility, including direct support or host duties for assigned visits. Partner with senior Product Support Team Members and Product Management to deliver sales channel training during structured programs, support Airside strategies, and respond to sales office requests. Provide voice of customer insights to support Airside portfolio strategies, including new product development (NPD), top‑line margin expansion (TLME), and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) projects. Support commercialization efforts for new or modified product launches as needed. Leverage Lean thinking and project‑management skills to support the team’s continuous improvement journey through Managing for Weekly Improvement (MWI) performance reviews and strategic problem‑solving. Learn about product‑management strategies and operational frameworks, establishing a foundation for career growth into product management, operations, or engineering. What You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another related technical field. One to two years of experience within the industrial or manufacturing sector preferred. Experience may include product management, engineering, marketing/sales, field support, or manufacturing operations, as well as technical internships. Tactful and assertive leadership skills to effectively interact with the field (account managers, sales assistants, customers). Effective and clear decision‑making in time‑sensitive situations. Ability to recognize developing situations, react, and diffuse potential problems while serving as a mediator between internal/external organizations. Solid organizational skills and flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and projects. Knowledge of HVAC or similar products is beneficial but not required (product training will be provided). Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
