MRI Technologist

Location: Janesville, WI

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: This will consist of 2 x 12hr shifts and 2 x 8 hr shifts, including Saturday rotation, and call rotation split between the team (every 4-6 week schedule). Shifts are typically scheduled from 7a-7p, 7-3:30, or 8-5:30.

Job Description: As an MRI Technologist, you will perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. You may be required to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call responsibilities, to provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for MRI procedures and provide instruction to minimize anxiety.
• Select and operate MRI systems, positioning patients and equipment for optimal imaging.
• Perform venipuncture and administer contrast media as needed.
• Evaluate images and data for technical quality and ensure proper identification is evident.
• Use radiology information systems (including PACS) for documentation and image submission.
• Assume responsibility for the physical and psychological needs of patients during procedures.
• Initiate basic life support action when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Experience as an MRI Technologist.
• ARRT Radiography registration required.
• ARRT MRI registration required.
• Approved BLS certification required.
