What You'll Do

• Provide patient care for complex interventional cardiology procedures including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions such as TAVR, MitraClip, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Operate and assist with advanced imaging systems, including Philips and Merge hemodynamic monitors
• Support procedures like angioplasty, stent placement, laser atherectomy, and IABP support
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, sterile techniques, and administer vasoactive and sedation drugs
• Float between hospitals as needed, providing flexible, top-tier patient care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes

What You Need

• Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience, with 1.5+ years in Cath Lab, performing multiple functions (circulating, scrubbing, monitoring)
• Ability to scrub and monitor complex cases in a cath lab setting, including structural heart and neuro interventions
• Strong skills in sterile technique, critical patient assessment, and vascular procedures
• Ability to operate complex imaging and hemodynamic equipment

About the Assignment

This assignment is at a leading facility in Shreveport, LA, specializing in complex cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions. You will play a vital role supporting critical procedures like TAVR, mitral valve repairs, and neuro interventions, utilizing a full suite of advanced imaging and monitoring systems. Orientation includes one week at the Innovation Center with up to an additional week of precepting, ensuring you are fully prepared to excel in this dynamic environment.
