VP, Group Account Director

I’m partnering with a leading global creative agency to find an experienced VP, Group Account Director to join its growing healthcare business. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an account leader who can operate as both a strategic client partner and business leader — driving growth, strengthening client relationships, championing creative excellence, and developing high-performing teams. What You’ll Do: Lead multiple accounts or a significant flagship account, providing senior-level vision and direction Build trusted relationships with senior and C-suite clients Lead annual brand planning, financial forecasting, and business development initiatives Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and grow the agency remit Drive integrated strategy and ambitious, insight-led creative that delivers meaningful business results Own account financials, including scopes, staffing, forecasting, pricing, and profitability Lead cross-functional teams and ensure effective collaboration across disciplines Evaluate team structure and resourcing to support sustainable delivery and team morale Mentor and develop talent across all levels, helping build stronger strategic leaders Serve as a senior leader for complex, high-stakes client and agency situations What We’re Looking For: 12+ years of account leadership experience within a healthcare creative, digital, or integrated agency Proven experience leading large-scale integrated campaigns and brand transformation initiatives Strong strategic thinking paired with a strong creative sensibility Confidence navigating C-suite conversations and complex stakeholder dynamics Strong financial acumen across scoping, forecasting, pricing, and profitability Experience with contract negotiation and agency growth initiatives Demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams High science acumen with HCP, U.S. and global experience Experience supporting brand launches and commercialization Strong understanding of MLR and OPDP requirements Ability to balance multiple priorities while keeping teams aligned and motivated Why This Opportunity?
