Details Work in a 12-bed Step Down unit utilizing critical care and neuroscience principles at the intermediate level Patient population includes neuro trauma, subarachnoid, intraventricular, or intracerebral hemorrhage, ENT cancer patients post tumor resection/flap reconstruction, post-op spine patients, and other neurological cases Patient ratio of 1:3 Day shift, 4x12 hour shifts (7:00-19:00) 13-week assignment with 36 or 48 hours per week Every other weekend and every other holiday required Must adhere to facility's float policy Requirements Active VA or compact RN license (pending license accepted) Current BLS and ACLS certification required NIHSS certification required Epic EMR experience required Additional Information Provide intermediate-level critical care and neuroscience nursing care to a complex patient population Up to 40 hours of RTO can be approved per contract No radius rule 12 months must pass before returning as a traveler at this facility First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-749714.
