Automotive Windshield Repair Technician Tooele Motor Company Position Summary Tooele Motor Companyis seeking a motivated and dependable Automotive Windshield Repair Technician to join our service team. This position is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing automotive glass while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to work efficiently in both shop and mobile environments. Key Responsibilities Inspect vehicle glass damage and determine appropriate repair or replacement solutions Repair windshield chips and cracks using approved repair methods and equipment Remove and install windshields, side glass, rear glass, and related automotive components Ensure proper fitment, sealing, and safety compliance on all installations Maintain accurate service records and complete repair documentation Keep tools, workspaces, and service vehicles clean and organized Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and recommendations Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines Assist with mobile windshield repair and replacement services as needed Qualifications Previous automotive glass experience required Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Automotive dealership or service center experience Industry certifications related to automotive glass repair Experience with mobile service operations Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health and wellness benefits Paid time off and holiday pay Employee discounts Equal Opportunity Employer Tooele Motor Companyis an Equal Opportunity Employer.
