Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity near Long Beach, CA offers the chance to work onsite, contributing your expertise in fine and gross motor skills to positively impact student learning and development. Collaborate with a responsive director and a welcoming school team, and work across three campus environments, serving a diverse caseload of approximately 53 students.

The position runs from August 5th, 2026, through September 30th, 2026—with the strong possibility of extension. Embrace a full-time schedule of 37.5-40 hours per week, with a unique opportunity to deliver comprehensive services in a school-based context.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy (OT) License in California
• Proven experience in school settings and/or home health environments
• Expertise in both fine motor and gross motor skill development
• Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy interventions
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet a wide range of student needs
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Dedicated to fostering student independence and success

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students onsite
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to optimize student progress
• Monitor and document student outcomes and adjust interventions as needed
• Travel between three local school sites to serve assigned caseload
• Participate in team meetings regarding student progress and support plans
