Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or psychological issues.

• Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, incorporating evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Delivering therapy sessions to students in a manner that respects their unique cultural backgrounds and personal experiences.

• Maintaining precise and timely clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and school district policies.

• Collaborating closely with teachers, school administrators, and parents to implement support strategies that facilitate student success.

• Engaging in regular supervision and peer consultation meetings to continually enhance clinical skills and treatment efficacy.

• Providing education to students and families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents within a school setting, addressing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your interventions will focus on enhancing academic performance and aiding emotional regulation. Leveraging evidence-based practices, you will help students develop skills for coping with life transitions and stressors, thus fostering resilience and promoting positive mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
