This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional care to critically ill neonates in a fast-paced environment. Unit Information The NICU unit consists of 51 beds and is supported by approximately 120 staff members, which includes registered nurses, respiratory therapists, and technicians. Our nurse-to-patient ratios are flexible, typically ranging from 1:1 to 1:4, depending on the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to neonates requiring advanced medical interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Monitor and assess the health status of patients using established protocols. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document nursing care in the electronic medical record. Educate and support families regarding their infants' conditions and care options. Qualifications Experience: 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience is preferred. Certifications: Must have NRP certification; STABLE and NIC-RNC certifications are preferred. Additional Information This position may require some floating to pediatric units, PICU, and Mother-Baby areas (babies only). The dress code for the unit includes navy blue scrubs.
