As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Assistance in Ashburn, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government educational location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school community members by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support established sign-in procedures, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with school administrators, staff, and responding public-service agencies as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
