LOS ANGELES - LABOR & EMPLOYMENT ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Location: Los Angeles, CA | Schedule: Full-time, hybrid | Compensation: $270,000 – $315,000 annually Overview A leading management-side labor and employment law firm is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Associate Attorney for its Los Angeles office. This is an opportunity to handle sophisticated employment matters for a diverse client base, including complex wage and hour, PAGA, and class action litigation, within a collaborative, high-performing team. What you'll do Represent employers in wage and hour, PAGA, and class action litigation matters Handle a wide range of labor and employment litigation matters, from inception through resolution Advise clients on compliance with evolving California and federal employment laws Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation filings Participate in discovery, including depositions, document review, and preparation of discovery responses Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and settlement documentation Represent clients in disputes involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic, practical solutions tailored to client needs Required qualifications JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing 4-7 years of substantive labor and employment law experience Significant experience handling wage and hour, PAGA, and class action matters, including matters in state and federal courts Strong background advising employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Arbitration, mediation, or trial experience is required Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively within team-based environments Comfortable with and open to using AI-driven and emerging technologies, with the ability to apply them effectively to boost efficiency, improve client service, and enhance legal work output Preferred qualifications Prior large or sophisticated law firm experience preferred Compensation and benefits Competitive salary range: $270,000 – $315,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, and vision coverage; retirement and 401(k) plans; generous PTO; parental leave; mental health and wellness programs; flexible spending accounts; life and disability insurance; and additional employee benefits and resources Why this role This role offers the opportunity to join a premier Labor & Employment practice handling some of the most challenging and impactful employment matters in the market, with strong institutional support and a culture that values collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group
