Job Title : Tax Manager
Job Location: Lisle or Northbrook office, IL- Hybrid 
Salary: $140,000-$160,000(DOE)
Requirements: 5+ Years of Public Accounting Tax

Position Overview
The Tax Manager will lead and oversee tax compliance and planning for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role involves managing tax reporting, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing strategic tax guidance to optimize tax positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for clients
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
• Research and analyze tax issues and update clients on tax law changes
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure tax-efficient business practices
• Develop and mentor junior staff in tax-related matters
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax situations and any potential issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or EA designation required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or public accounting
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws
• Experience with partnership and corporate tax returns
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
