Mammography Technologist

Location: Reno, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: M-F with rotating shifts including 7:30-3, 7:30-4, and 8-4:30 hours.

Job Description: Under the supervision of the Manager of the Reno Breast Center, the Mammography Technologist produces diagnostic mammograms, assists with mammographic procedures, and ensures patient care while upholding the standards of the health facility.

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality diagnostic mammograms.
• Assist radiologists and referring physicians during mammographic procedures.
• Provide patient care ensuring satisfaction and comfort.
• Make technical decisions to optimize mammographic image quality.
• Document patient information and procedures accurately.
• Work as part of a team to improve department efficiency.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• Current ARRT certification and NV State License required prior to start date.
• BLS certification is required.
