What You'll Do

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms (2D, M-mode, Doppler) on adult and pediatric patients
• Coordinate exam scheduling and patient transport within hospital departments
• Assist cardiologists with exam preparations, measurements, and dictations
• Respond to patient needs during procedures, reporting changes to medical staff as necessary
• Manage exam room supplies, maintain equipment quality, and troubleshoot repairs
• Log patient data, maintain accurate records, and support quality improvement activities
• Participate in on-call coverage for emergency echo exams outside regular hours
• Stay current with advances in echocardiography and collaborate with cardiologists on new techniques

What You Need

• ARDMS/CCI registration or eligibility, or equivalent certification
• State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of echocardiography experience preferred

• Experience working in hospital or clinical settings
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Manual dexterity and ability to work under pressure
