Job Overview

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Bilingual Customer Service Specialist (English/Spanish) for a temporary assignment in downtown Austin, Texas.

The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, has excellent communication and organizational skills, and enjoys assisting customers, staff, and visitors in a professional office environment.

In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact by answering incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments, coordinating meeting room reservations, assisting with virtual meeting technology, and providing general customer service support. The successful candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, courteous, and comfortable interacting with people at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and direct callers to the appropriate department or staff member.
• Assist customers with routine questions, concerns, and complaints while providing accurate and courteous service.
• Communicate effectively with English- and Spanish-speaking customers, staff, attorneys, visitors, and members of the public.
• Schedule and coordinate meeting room reservations for internal departments and approved external parties.
• Assist with audio/visual equipment, Microsoft Teams meetings, Zoom presentations, and other meeting technology.
• Manage meeting room scheduling conflicts and accommodate special or last-minute meeting requests when possible.
• Provide basic troubleshooting support for telephone systems, Microsoft Teams voice settings, and call queues.
• Coordinate with security, facilities, and other departments to address customer needs and resolve issues.
• Assist with visitor access procedures and direct couriers and deliveries to the appropriate locations.
• Escalate complex questions or concerns to the appropriate supervisor or department.
• Perform additional administrative and customer service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both English and Spanish , with the ability to communicate professionally in speaking and writing.
• Previous customer service, receptionist, front desk, call center, or administrative support experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
• Basic computer proficiency, including email, calendars, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, meeting room scheduling, or telephone systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy office environment.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries professionally and maintain confidentiality.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work on-site Monday through Friday.

Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $18.00–$19.00, depending on experience.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Employment Type: Temporary, full-time assignment.

• Work Setting: Professional office environment; on-site attendance is required five days per week.
