Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Call: None
Regular Pay: $125/hour
Estimated Weekly Pay: Approximately $5,000/week
Estimated 26-Week Earnings: Up to approximately $130,000 , based on 40 hours/week
OT/Holiday Pay: $156.25/hour when applicable

HPA Healthcare is seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner for a full-time, 26-week locum tenens assignment in Potsdam, New York.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NP seeking a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no call . The provider will work in a Gastroenterology/Internal Medicine practice caring for adult patients with a broad range of gastrointestinal and medical conditions.

Responsibilities

The NP will evaluate and manage adult Gastroenterology patients, develop treatment plans, prescribe and monitor medications, order appropriate interventions, provide patient and family education, coordinate specialty referrals and collaborate with physicians on complex cases.

Accurate clinical documentation and compliance with applicable regulatory and evidence-based standards are required.

Requirements

• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Active New York license
• Minimum 3 years recent experience
• Gastroenterology experience preferred
• Epic experience required
• AHA or RQI BLS
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
